Larchmont Instructional Focus

ROAR-Read Often And Respond: All Larchmont students will show measurable growth in their ability to read with comprehension as they respond to a variety of texts. Students will show measurable growth on district assessments, STAR reading, Smarty Antz weekly data, SOL tests, teacher-created assessments, and formative assessments.

School wide Smart-e Goal

In one year, all students will show growth in their ability to comprehend text either orally or written, as measured by STAR Reading and Smarty Antz.

100% of Larchmont Elementary students will make a minimum of one year’s growth from their baseline independent reading levels, taken in September to the End of Year.
